BK is advertising that each of their current toys has a surprise inside. I think it's time to go and get my surprise.

Drat! One more reason the closure of downtown's BK is such a bad thing.
And don't hate on Detroit. The times I can remember will always be fond memories.

...And don't hate on Detroit. ... Exactly. Like Moe said on The Simpsons, "Lay off Detroit, thems people are living in Mad Max times"

Detroit is the most depressing city I ever visited. Fugly town with homeless people living in cardboard boxes under overpasses, stinks, boarded up homes. Bull doze it down and start over.
Rusty vacant factories, empty skyrises downtown. The lions and tigers would have been better off moving out of town. It is scary to go there for a night game.

That's a little harsh, don't you think? I'm pretty sure most large cities have at least some of all of those things, but it doesn't mean all hope is lost.

I hope they do, but what I saw was very depressing.
I know Columbus has it bad spots too, but nothing like what I saw in Detroit.

There were more than 1 million people living in Detroit back in the 60's. Now, not even half that. Somebody is going to buy the entire old Packard assembly plant for less than $1 million. Millions of square feet under roof, for less than a million.
As they used to say - As goes GM, so goes the country....

Detroit is in such bad fiscal shape that one of every 8 houses in the city is abandoned...the city is considering closing their art museum and selling the portfolio to fund the operating account...yeah, it is depressing, it is bad, poor planning by civic leaders for years has led detroit to the brink of bankruptcy...

The employee who put the pipe in the happy meal box confessed to it, and he along with two other employees have been arrested.
Don't be hating on Detroit..I have lived in the area most of my life and what is depicted by the media for the masses is not the actuality of the city. Sure, there are bad areas, abandoned homes, and there have been cyclical instances of urban flight (dating back to the 60's), but the city is gaining a following of young up and coming professionals, businesses are coming back, and with the BK protection, the city has a chance to recover and once again become the great city it was!
:::just my opinion:::
