Now, Jafo sweetie, you just didn't visit the right part of Georgia! You come on down here where Joker, Becca, and I live. Don't do it Jafo the "sweetie" is the give away. Some of those people down there have brothers that are 7 foot tall 300 pounds and can play on any NFL team and the others do not need them. And then there are the Joker and Becca's that can handle 1200 lbs of angry dragons, know how to use whips, spurs and ropes...need I say more....sweetie? just sayin. Sounds fun, excpet for the Spurs.

Headed to the city, sounds like I need to pack my gun AND my parachute. Only if you have small children around.

Dallas - because of Jerry Jones and his sorry excuse for a football team.
P.S. - Jerry, thanks for locking up Romo for so many years at a high salary. Nice to know he will continue to choke at critical times for years to come! Well, technically the Cowboys play in Arlington and their practice facility is in Irving, please don't lump a nice city like Dallas in just becasue they share the name of that horrible team

Rawlins, WY. Spent a year there one night last summer on the way to Grand Teton/Yellowstone. Dirty, disgusting city. What were we thinking.

I didn't like Philadelphia when we visited several years ago. Not sure what I expected, but it was dirty and I felt very unsafe most of the time.

Flint, MI is one of the worst cities I've been in. Also Gary, IN. I wonder how many of those who criticize these cities have actually been in them? Blowing through/by them on an interstate doesn't really qualify. That said, I've actually driven in Gary. It does suck.

Having lived in Saginaw for 29 years, I can say without a doubt Flint is a town not to like. If Detroit can be likened to Cairo, Flint is North Cairo.

I get that, but I still wonder when people say such things if they've really been there or are just going off of reputation. Gary is sad, but it's still cool driving by the US Steel mill. That place is massive, and it's cool when it's lit up at night.

A program in the blighted city of Gary, Ind., offers residents the opportunity "to pay less for a house than for their morning coffee." With a third of its homes unoccupied, the city plans to demolish some but sell others for the whopping price of $1. But there are strings attached. The buyers would have to "meet a minimum income threshold (starting at $35,250 for one person) and demonstrate the financial ability to bring the neglected property up to code within six months. Those selected would have to live in the home for five years before receiving full ownership."

Klamath Falls, OR (No falls. W T F?) Klamath Falls, OR is not named for a missing body of water falling from mountain, as many surmise. William Klamath was an itinerant explorer in the 1800s, and had suffered through a rather harsh winter in 1878, having traversed the Continental Divide in the middle of the winter, as he was trying to follow the course set by Lewis and Clark. Billy was hoping to make it to the Pacific Ocean to gain access to a fishing boat or schooner to deliver him to California. Physically exhausted, running low on provisions, his horse having run off, and his mule dying, Billy struggled on until that fateful day in February 1878 that he could go no further, and literally fell flat on his face on the shoreline of a lake. He was discovered by Native Americans, who nursed him back to health through the spring of 1878, and deeded him property on the shores of the lake, where Billy put down roots and built a small trading post that exploded in the late 1800s as a stopping point for miners heading to the the Alaskan Gold Rush. He had named his trading post "Klamath Falls" as a joke to how he ended up in the area, and the small trading post grew into a full fledged town under the weight of gold rush travelers, and the town took the name of the trading post in his honor.

Five Guys burgers are the preferred snack now (sometimes 20 pc. McNuggets)
