I bought some new underwear yesterday. But I need to wash them before I can wear them. I totally get this, I can't wear new clothes, particularly shirts without washing them first.

I bought some new underwear yesterday. But I need to wash them before I can wear them. You sound like my wife. I just take them out of the package and put them on. Besides, formaldehyde is a preservative.

since Friday is a national holiday, wouldn't today technically be Thursday instead of Wednesday? Unless you also have tomorrow off, in which case today is already Friday...

Ladybugs do indeed stink! Every few years down in south central OK we'd experience a plague of the darn things and the stench was horrible. As an added bonus, they bite! They do squirt yellow junk. And they do bite (I've been maimed by ladybugs  ) Who would put an unwashed ladybug in their mouth to see what it tasted like?
