'K, that made me laugh. And people think I'm weird. I Googled your dream and it means you need to vacuum more. You're falling behind in your wifely duties and the sense of guilt is overbearing; you can't run away from it.

I had the strangest dream the other night... I was running a half marathon (HAHAHAHA like that would ever happen) and we were on the same course as full marathoners, we just veered off in different directions at certain points. Those points weren't always clear, which made choosing left or right somewhat difficult at times. Anyways, what makes this dream strange? The entire course was INSIDE someone's house. A really big house, sure, but really, brain? Where did that come from? Similar scenario to a hunt (werewolf) that was done inside someone's humongous warehouse...with all sorts of levels and trapped doors, etc...and prizes, if you could snag them. I can't remember what series that is...but it was a race...indoors!

I did 30 girly pushups this morning. Had to split them into 2 sets of 15, but hey - they still count, right?

Who is Blanche and why is she doing pushups in your office? Knowing Freak, I'd have to assume he's talking about the one from Golden Girls. Mmmm...Blanche Devereaux..... Oh wait...she's dead.... Now things just got weird....

Did my 32 this morning. Had to split into 2 sets with a breather in between. I bought myself something new. Ok, it's not shoes so the guys won't be excited about it haha. It's a "Polar Loop FT60" Fitness training watch/heart rate sensor that straps around your chest thingamajig. The gym had a big sale through yesterday and my trainer highly recommended this. You can set it up to give you goals and track all your info for you. I love it. I did my 24 hour "assessment" and it shows your high and low heart rate, average, calories burned, zones you were in (cardio, fat burn, etc.), and a zillion more bells and whistles. This is my "ok, it's February, keep motivated, keep going!" gift to myself. I think I need to read the instruction manual in full (instead of skimming) to understand all the features.

Oooohhh...a watch! I do get excited for watches. Probably have at least 30 if I did a full inventory. I've been considering replacing my Nike+. I'd like something with an altimeter that I can use for hiking. The Nike always assumes that I'm running.

My watch isn't working!!! Unless, of course, I *actually* burned 942 calories during my 40 minute (very moderate) workout last night. Sigh. I guess I'll be returning my Polar FT watch for a replacement. It's also showed my heart rate (at rest, here at my desk) as 999 this morning several times. It also randomly keeps beeping although I have no alarms set. GRRRRRR. I'm cursed. Now I just need to locate the receipt in my purse full of paper. It's the 2014 "everything I buy isn't quite right" curse I guess. My phone is acting funny, and the refurbished Surface I bought was dead on arrival when I received it... had to return that. I ordered a book for my niece from Amazon and it arrived all shrink wrapped in the box but when I opened it, the cover was torn in half! CRAZY! Did my 35 pushups this morning on the wall cuz my shoulder was so sore from doing seated rows last night. Ugh.

My Dad and I both collect watches of all kinds. For workouts I have an Ironman, A touchscreen Casio and a Garmin 310xt (my fave). The 310 is the only one that I could find that is completely waterproof and is actually made for triathlons. It is hideously large and obnoxiously orange. So its perfect! I'm still learning about using my heartrate as a training tool. I've always been pace oriented. But I see some value in the heartrate training.
