"Normal" meaning... 4" heels, or something more forgiving??

Wonder if BBB can say the same. Hopefully not the heels, but you know what I mean!

I'm in ballet flats...the heels wouldn't be an issue, it's the closed toe. These are pretty roomy though.

Except heels would push the toes further into the closure.

And, I really hope BBB1 isn't wearing ballet slippers to work...his lime green knee socks are scary enough.

Closed toe heels are out for a week or so.

Besides, she wants to show off her battle-wounds!

My ballet flats are closed toe...I also have the battle wounds wrapped in bandaids.

I like to be seen!
Plus they are compression socks. It was cold and wet when we started so it was a favor to my calves and shins.
As for the other, no ballet slippers, but I do have on a pair of old running shoes with a lot of room around the toes today. The toenail on the left foot is probably toast, but it wasnt all that pretty anyway.

Besides, there really shouldn't be many people who would ever have the misfortune of seeing your naked toes!

The Military claims origination. Only it was called he "Squat Thrust", which I imagine in todays world is a socially unacceptable term. So they came up with a less controvertial, and totally inexplicable name, "Burpees".

I completed all my goals for the month. I had to cram a few too many squats and planks in during the last two days, but oh well!
