Got January out of the way this morning. Still need to complete February and then a half dozen for March.
That's how I keep track of how many I have to do each day....

I just realized that I still have additional pushups to complete. But I am counting the ones I did in TRX today!

5-2 Go, I feel your pain...amazingly, my shoulders have held up so far, but my right wrist is giving me trouble on and off.

No workout for me this morning. I had to rescue my hubby's truck off the side of the road at 6am.

Yep. Throttle died. I towed it back to our house and the shop's tow truck picked it up from there. I wasn't brave enough to pull it through morning traffic in town to get to the shop.

Awesome! Yes, I like these sets. I cannot recommend a tire and sledge hammer enough! Everyone should have them! There are some days that the hammer and tire are the only thing that keep my employees alive! Big tires are good for flipping, car tires are good for throwing!! For you northern types, Splitting wood is just about as good and infinitely more satisfying!

Ommmm...I was just going to ask if slinging an ax counted...but since I'm in the SOUTH, I guess it doesn't. Who is the intended victim? would be the first question in determining that.

Today is day 69!!! I was born in 1969. So that makes today my "golden pushup" day, right? My old rotator cuff injury has reared its ugly head and made doing sets of more than 25 impossible. I do the first set "real" pushups, then two smaller sets later in the day with "modified" pushups per my trainer's strict advice. She likes the challenge though and is "encouraging" all her other victims... errr... I mean clients to do the pushup challenge along with us. 10 days until my knee surgery. 8 weeks after THAT, I can resume running and go back to training on the toboggan slide stairs in the forest preserve - yay. Come on May 15th!!! Man, I can't wait. I never thought I'd say this, but I really miss running (and being able to walk down/up stairs without pain will be a treat, too). Knee gave out on me last night on my brother's icy driveway and I fell down (again). It's getting ridiculous. Hope the surgeon can fix the darn thing.

I'm tempted to recommend that anyone wanting hit a tire with a sledge hammer first split a cord of wood to learn the technique. I watched a guy at a local gym flail away at a monster tire with no sense at all of what he was doing.

Tire and sledge seem like a good way to improve the drive of a golf ball increasing wrist speed.

Did he have a sledge in each hand, and was rapidly driving the tire into the cement floor?? If so, you may have actually been watching BBB during one of his workouts!

I started doing my sets as Freak mentioned earlier. So I did January during the first set of commercials for the show I was watching, February on the next commercials, and March on the next. Thanks for the idea Freak, it really does make it easier to keep track, and doesn't seem so bad!
