I simply adore the Cubano sandwich at Fuego CityScape. Best pernil I've had. Our cafeteria chef makes an awesome one, oo.  They are calling the cook at the county jail a "Chef" now? :kick: And you used to be such a nice guy...

I think I will make that pernil al horno recipe this weekend. Probably have to buy the meat at the Asian market, though, to make this Puerto Rican dish.

No, I prefer real pho as apposed to fake pho which would be faux pho. Unless there is a giant involved, in which case its fee fi fo pho!  BTW, its pronounced "Fa". But that brings up a whole nother line of silliness.

Completely agree. There's a place out here that tried to "clean" it up and make it more bland to appeal to less-adventurous diners. It's horrible!
