He was absolutely terrible with the Pats last year.

Tebow had no business being in the NFL as a QB, nevermind being a first round pick. Who in the year should have been drafted instead Gronk?

I think he brings a Tebow factor for any team. If you have him on your team and don't start him, soon as your starter begins to falter, or you're not winning, they will start chanting Johnny Johnny... Tebow main issues were 1) broncos reneged 2) his agent let him sign with the Jets 3) Coaches believe that only quality QBs play in the nfl (wrong) nope. his main issues are that he's not very accurate and doesn't read defenses well. and dont forget, Bellicheck also let him go after seeing him all preseason. Bellicheck doesn't care what anyone thinks, he would start a goat in a trenchcoat if he thought he'd win more games. And he was not as good as say Sanchez? not accurate and does not read defense at all Bellicheck would only start a trenchcoat if he could find a way to put a recording device in it.

You know who i think is going to be a stud? Aaron Donald. He's a little short for a defensive tackle, but a monster in everything else. Was hoping he'd fall to my Cowboys, but i think everyone agrees he's a beast and he may sneak into the top 5.

But i know if i were an owner I wouldn't have the discipline to do it. I'd get all excited and trade all the next decades first rounders to get Clowney. If the Texans draft Clowney, the idea of facing a defense with Clowney on one end and JJ Watt on the other ought to scare a few teams.

Sanchez stinks too. [/quote] Agreed but what the Jets needed more than a QB was a guy that could lead the team. It did not need to be Tebow or any QB but the team is lacking a leader more than someone who can throw the ball.

yes. exactly. Mark Sanchez is a much better QB than Tim Tebow. and a much worse team leader. Sanchez made the rest of the team worse.

Better than what, Tebow? Maybe, but not so much better that I could actually distinguish between the two. Sanchez is pretty bad.

Sanchez had his moments-he did get them to 2 AFC Championship games.

Sanchez had his moments-he did get them to 2 AFC Championship games. With a decent QB they could have one one of them.

Sanchez had his moments-he did get them to 2 AFC Championship games. Maybe in the same sense that Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl. His numbers were average. The Jets were lead by a strong running game and a great defense. I don't think many people give Sanchez the credit for their performances.

sorry, Drew Brees on his best day barely reaches 6'0" tall (really like 5'11.9999999999"). His own wiki page says he is 6'0"

I was not inferring he was Tom Brady-simply that he did enough to help get them there. The core of those teams were the D and running game.

someone made a funny point on a podcast i was listening to the other day: If you're the Texans, do you just leave Derek Carr off your draft board entirely. Even if he falls to the seventh round and you havent taken another QB, does the whole thing with his brother just make him not worth it.

The invited draftees are going to get to pick walk-up music this year. This sounds awesome and fun, but then i realized this is the NFL so i'm sure they'll have to pick from a pre-approved list from Goodells iphone. probably a lot of played out classic rock like "Bad to the Bone" or "Hotel California".
And I guarantee you skip bayless or cowheard or some other idiot is going to question a players intangibles and future career just based on what song they pick. "KENDRICK LAMAR?!? THIS KID IS NOT SERIOUS ABOUT RESPECTING THE SHIELD!!!"

Most of those guys on ESPN are clowns-they all have a schtick. Chris Berman needs to go away. Now.
