The coolest kids were good enough to multi-task and do it all, while getting straight A's and having no social life! As in had a job, was on the state rodeo team, top 7 in her class, with straight As AND had a social life? I did date the best running back ever and looked adorable in his lettermans jacket.

Random...but not...re-reading that I sound like an arrogant WITCH. (ok...the witch part is right). But it really troubles me that I was a normal kid, ALL of that was expected of me by my parents, teachers and coaches, and yet I dont know of ANY kids right now that can list half that stuff. My kids included. I shouldn't get on my 'how did we raise an entire generation of spoiled rotten brats with this huge sense of entitlement' soap box.

The H3LL you shouldnt!! We all should! How else is it ever going to stop! Until we as a society stop accepting it, it will just continue.
YEAH!! That being said, I have no kids and can really only complain about people that are about 15 years younger than me, so I don't have much to contribute. Though every time I see a 4 year old with an iPad, it makes a part of me die on the inside. Their parents should be telling them not to eat bugs at that age! Last weekend I was at my parent's and two of my cousins were visiting. Combine their ages and they're about 13, but I had to interrupt them on their iPads to even say hi to them. Bah. And Jen, I bet you looked great in that jacket!

The last wedding I went to (somebodies aroiund here ), I wore white linen dress slacks, a bright yellow shirt, a black blazer, with a yellow silk pocket square.......and bight yellow, green, black and white running shoes with orange laces! who was getting married? a lightning bug?

Ok. Now I think I've seen it all. On my commute in this morning, the harley in front of me had disabled plates on it. Motorcycle operators are a bit crazy to begin with, but a disabled one. . . . I moved into a different lane.

My son boughttraded a boat for a vette from an old man with disabled plates...he didn't have any problems getting in and out...I think his disability involved his heart.
