If I understand the rule, the new Loan Estimate must be given within 3-business days of receiving an application for a loan to be secured by a timeshare, but there is no 7-day waiting period prior to closing. If the loan closes within 3-business days of application, then a Closing Disclosure may be given in place of the Loan Estimate.

Are there other special little rules for timeshares of which we need be aware?

Never mind :-). I think I found a good enough summary in the Small Entity Guide, section 13.1, page 75.
