If I understand the rule, the new Loan Estimate must be given within 3-business days of receiving an application for a loan to be secured by a timeshare, but there is no 7-day waiting period prior to closing. If the loan closes within 3-business days of application, then a Closing Disclosure may be given in place of the Loan Estimate.
