Taking the jump from my last two positions as BSA officer of $200m and $500m community banks to BSA Officer of an $8b regional bank. Nervous, but excited for the opportunity.

I went from $100m to $2b and there was a bit of culture shock for the first few months, but it wears off pretty quick.

Thanks all. I've worked a much larger regional bank about 8-10 years ago, but not in this capacity. I hope that $8b is still small enough to offer that small bank feel, less of the politics, more of the team work and collab.

Nice here today...low this morning of 50; high this afternoon of 81... but heading back to low 90s by the weekend. The weather here can't/won't fully commit to fall just yet.

We'll be back in the 90s next week. I know the hint of fall is just teasing right now, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

I will be starting a new position at a new bank in just over a week. Moving from a Compliance Officer roll at a $5 billion institution to Compliance Advisor with Fair and Responsible Banking at a $50 billion bank. Been at my hometown bank for 17 years - huge step and a lot of nervousness, but it's an opportunity I am unable to pass up.
