Part of the suspension has detached from the front driver's side wheel. Wonder how long that will last before BOOM!!
But the mechanic said it is still probably safe to drive. O_o

Anti-roll bar...sway arm? If so, is it the end linkage? If so, that's a pretty easy repair...just sayin.

Sway bar links should be less than $20 and take less than a half hour to install (I replaced mine last year). If the mount for one of the links is gone, that's going to be a little more involved.

One of the links on mine broke completely off and the bar didn't hang down, but there was a thump when hitting a bump and/or turning.

Mine sounded HORRIBLE, but they were just worn out on each side....not broken....LOL! Yeah, I guess it would still be connected at the mount. At any rate, you can remove the entire arm and keep on trucking...I have one sitting n my backyard that came off my son's Grand Marquis! !
