For Peepers: http://www.bk.com/menu-item/a1-halloween-whopper

I bet he could talk them into doing this with a Quad-Stacker.

If that's that black bun thing, I'm not interested.

I'm taking doctors' orders and eating healthier. Only three meals per day are from fast food place now.

I was fast-forwarding through commercials on my DVR last night and caught a quick glimpse that Whopper. I had to go back and see if they were just messing around with effects for Halloween but no, the bun is black.

This opens a pretty funky door. What's next, red buns for Valentine's Day? Green buns for St. Patrick's Day? Red, white and blue for July 4th?

I have seen all of those things already. Green shake at McDs is the standout yummy treat.

I believe they released this Halloween whopper last year in Japan and not only was the bun black, but so was the cheese.

It might taste good, but if I see black cheese then there is not way I could even try it.

The charcoal lime water from Kaleidoscope is black, but tastes like lime. Activated charcoal has no flavor or odor; yet, everyone in the office is afraid to try my water. I could drink it every day!

Does every order I place with Amazon really need 3 follow-up emails asking for reviews? One asking for a review of the products I purchased, one asking for a review of the seller (either completely independent or "fulfilled by Amazon") and one asking for a review of the stupid packaging?

And apparently, ordering something changes my preferences from "quit emailing me every day about products Amazon thinks I am interested in" to "bombard my inbox."

I love the new Amazon NOW where they deliver it to your front door within 2 hours! Nice to live in a metropolitan area where that can happen..

Any BOL Millennials that care to comment on this story?
http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-tic...amp;bypass=true

My baby sister and her hubby both battle with this. Often when they ask why they are not more successful they say but I did "this" so why do I not have "that?" They do not like when I answer that it took me time to get "that" it did not happen overnight.

A CU, Where Regs Don't Apply
Yep, all you old people lied to us and gave us false expectations for what adulthood would be like! We should've listened to the grandparents instead. Save every penny, and don't get married, you'll die rich and happy! That's what my grandpa said.

I see that in my generation though, absolutely. At my employer, I've watched nearly all of our good 25-35 year old talent move on to move up after they put in five or so years here. We're not willing to sit and wait for the 50 year old types to retire or move up, so we've got to move on. I sure don't have any intention of retiring here, no reason to stick around for 3% a year (if lucky) if I can move every 5 to get 20-40% at a shot. (speaking of the business world in general, it definitely doesn't work that way for compliance!)

Finally saw "Gone Girl" this past weekend. Knew from reading the book "Amazing" Amy was completely psycho, and the movie really, really drove it home...

That was a very interesting movie! Aren't they making a sequel to this?

I think it's being considered, but not a sure thing. "Dark Places," another story by the author, was released this summer, but it's different characters.

working for one company until retirement has long passed us all by. The only way I could get ahead was by changing jobs frequently.

Yes, it has Walden. My father worked for the L&N Railroad for 40+ years but that is unheard of these days.

Hubs has been working for the same company for over 35 years but he says the concept of loyalty is gone. Younger workers don't have any as outlined in the article linked above. Even worse, and contrary to much of what you read about companies valuing experienced workers, management really just wants cheap employees. It may look like a 5% increase to the 30 year old changing jobs, but it goes on the company balance sheet as lower operating costs because they cut the person who'd been getting raises for 20 years. Something to consider too is that most jobs have salary caps now. Young workers job switching are going to price themselves out at a much quicker point in time.
