If it's not Glenn, I think there may be a revolt from the graphic novel devotees. I think that not letting him meet his end would derail the story too much going forward. I hear his clock ticking.......

On the Talking Dead, they mentioned there would be some departures from the novel. Norman Reedus has another show he's working on.

Maybe it will be both of them.

I think it will be a turning point to see who they kill off. It should be Glenn. If the producers don't have the guts to kill off a character just because they are a "Fan Favorite" they will screw up the integrity of the plot then I think the show will have jumped the shark.

I agree Thomas. There should be multiple high profile deaths the remainder of this season that have this type of weight (admittedly not to the degree of Glenn). I can think of another one that should be in the next episode or two that has solid long term implications as well.

They've already departed from the comics. For example, Andrea should still be alive. That being said, my bet's still on Daryl. He's not taking Negan seriously. Plus he's had several run ins with Negan's men already. He lost his crossbow as the result of one of them.

What about Carol? She really shouldn't still be there anyway.

I am also on the disliking Carl bandwagon, but I don't think he is going anywhere. I hope we will be seeing less of him, though.

If nothing else he will be seeing less of everyone else.

They have differed from the comics but not in a plot impacting way. Carol took the place of Andrea so that is a wash.

what about Daryl? His whole existence is a change to the plot. that is pretty impactful I think.

Not really. He hasn't impacted the plot at all. His presence hasn't changed any of the stories in any significant way. If Glenn lives that will have a huge impact on the story going forward.

Craaaaazy episode. Makes me nervous for episodes to come! We know the general storyline, just don't know the exact victim!

Spoiler: When I was watching and they took out the group in the compound, I had a feeling it was too easy. When the radio call came over the air, my first thought was I suppose letting Carol and Maggie die was out of the question.

This episode did for Carol what past episodes did for characters whose lives were about to be written off the show. She showed a weakness, a side that isn't actually made for this life. That and she found hope for a future with someone. She has now been added to the possible Negan victims.

I had kept her off that list because I felt she filled the Andrea role from the books but Sasha has morphed into that role. I still hope they keep it accurate but I honestly can see several options (Morgan included).

The anticipation is both torturous and exquisite at the same time.

Any thoughts on what in the world Morgan was doing??
