My high school basketball team won their sub-state game Saturday night and will be headed to the State tournament next week for the 4th year in a row!

I'm impressed that someone still in high school can also work in bank compliance. Congrats to your team. What position do you play?

Big Bang Theory is my favorite show of all time hubby and I still crack up watching the reruns! I even found a Bazinga T-shirt every time I wear it I either get strange looks as people are trying to figure what it means or they crack up.

Only other thing is the movie Office Space that is so funny!

And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were merry, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire...

Funniest thing:
We were in Universal Studios Florida a few years ago and someone had on a tee-shirt that said:

and my husband was like "what the heck does that mean"

I stopped in here to post that my feet hurt, but I read through yesterday's posts and had to share from my past:

Worked at a very large bank many decades ago....New position in commercial lending, first day at my new desk and I requested a stapler from "supplies" in another state of course. I got a very nice reply that there was a stapler within a certain distance of me. I can't remember now (I'm old) how far away the stapler was. And I looked around. There was one. Were they suggesting that I, the lowly credit analyst, get up and enter the commercial lender's office every time I needed to staple? Should I just take his stapler?

I tried other avenues to secure a stapler for my desk and eventually bought one. My husband made some joke about it and I taped the receipt for it to the bottom...remember how you could pull that rubber part off the bottom? I loved that stapler. People would drop by to use my functional stapler.

I left in the mid-90's, I guess, and my placement of the stapler in my "going home" box was questioned. Never more proud to pull off the bottom and slap that receipt down and leave with the stapler!
