I'm listening to an audio book series, Alaskan Courage, by Dani Pettrey. I love mysteries. You have to when you work in compliance, right?

'After You' by Jojo Moyes. If 'Me Before You' grabbed you then this one is a must read.

Just started the Harry Bosch series by Michael Connolly. The first book "The Black Echo" was written in 1992, so it's definitely dated, but is good so far.

I've just started Cryptonomicon, by Neal Stephenson. It's testing the limits of my understanding of math (which is slim) and my vocabulary. There are two plots, one about codebreakers in WW2, and another which appears to be centered on the development of internet based communication in the Philippines in the 1990s. It's a monster of a book, but really well written.
A side note of trivia: My son spent two years in Korea, 2009 and 2010, teaching English. He brought this book home from there. He left dozens of books behind, but brought this one back. I forgot about it until I found it the back of a bottom dresser drawer last week. A stamp in the front shows that it was once sold by a bookstore in Viet Nam. A well traveled book.
My bookmarks are an expired Korean debit card, a grocery store rewards card, a prepaid internet card, and a stamp card from a sandwich shop (buy 10 get one free.) My son was only two stamps away from a sandwich when he left.

I teach English here with an In Home ESL program. The most rewarding volunteering I have ever done. You start to see immediate results. And I sometimes use our old Dr. Seuss reading books for training materials.

That sounds interesting, Dazed. Now that I'm almost through the 'Bones' series on Netflix I might like to read one of hers.

Nathan's Run by John Gilstrap - just finished. Reading No Mercy, same author
One of his books, Six Minutes to Freedom, is being made into a movie and is based on a true story. He writes well - along the genre of Grisham - with excellent intrigue. Recommend!

David Baldacci is coming out with his next John Puller book in November. I'll definitely be getting that when it's released.

my BF just finished Ready Player One and has been raving about it. Futuristic sci-fi, video game setting with mega 1980's references. Already being filmed with Speilberg directing and John Williams doing the score

I *loved* Ready Player One. If you listen to the audiobook, Wil Wheaton is the narrator. About the only person I think might have been better would be Matthew Broderick.
