Took my son to see Inside Out last night. He loved it! And it's actually a good family movie.

I found a dead bat in the pool skimmer this morning. Pretty sure he died gorging himself on mosquitos the size of eagles we've got buzzing around.

Off to the interwebs to buy a bat house to entice more of his batty friends to stick around.

They are really easy to build out of scrap wood and a bit of cloth if you're a little bit handy

When I came into the building this morning (first one here), there was a Hercules Beetle hanging right by the door. I had never seen one before and it was awful - about 2" long. My husband follows me in to see that I get in OK - and he moved it for me.

TV Land pulls ‘Dukes’ — Confederate flag a no-no

The network declined to comment on why the episodes were removed, but the southern-set show has come under fire recently for its depiction of the Confederate flag, which is emblazoned on the hood of the Duke Boys’ signature 1969 orange Dodge Charger.

The Dukes of Hazzard” originally aired on CBS from 1979-85 and followed the adventures of cousins Bo Derek (John Schneider) and Luke Derek (Tom Wopat) who raced around town in their trusty stock car.

The finally fixed it.

Went to the doctor thinking I have broken/sprung something in my foot...nope its good ole gout.

Hopefully this pain relieves itself fast!

The show would have been even better with Bo Derek instead of Bo Duke.

So the blood work came back negative on Lymes disease which was good to hear. But that leaves the other option. "If it is not Lymes I just do not have any idea what it might be son. Maybe it just stress."

Thanks Doc, going in for a followup tomorrow I am hoping they can actually find out what might be going on.

Hey, if anyone on here has anyone in a hospital please note the following:

I was just listening to the radio and they were talking about all of the infectious stuff floating around hospital rooms these days such as C-Diff, etc. which are wreaking havoc with patients.

They said to make sure you go in and wipe down all of the touchable surfaces with a bleach wipe, and it will cut down the likelihood of infection by 80%.
