Those present in the comics are Rick, Carl, Glenn, Maggie, Sophia (Carol's daughter they adopted), Michonne, and Heath). With that rumored change it really leads me to believe it will be (comic spoilers) Abraham since he is already dead in the comics (Shot by the bold instead of Denise) and his death has a BIG impact on two other characters. Those two characters have a very important role in the post-Saviors story line. I doubt it will be left that way based on comments by Andrew Lincoln. He said filming the death was very emotional and I don't see it being emotional if filmed the way described in the rumor. I guess they could have filmed the scene to begin the next season... There will be many angry fans if that is true.

In the rumor it did say That all 9 of them were lined up, and he first picked out Maggie, as she is sick and in pain, but Glenn interjected. Then it says Negan has trouble deciding who so he plays "eeny, meeny, miney, moe" and during this count, each one of the 9 faces are shown. After he chooses and starts bashing, everyone is screaming in the background.
The lead up to this is that Maggie is sick so the group is taking her to The Hilltop to see the Dr.
I knew the Abe was the one who was supposed to take Denise's death, so it definitely makes sense for it to be him.

Sounds like they are playing it just like the comics then with the game he plays. That is good news. Thanks for the information. That is encouraging (as encouraging as the subject matter can be).

Again, Carol tried to warn the people before she opened a can. They just didn't listen.

I was disappointed that they got the drop on him AGAIN.
Do you think there is a chance that Carol shot Dwight and Dwight didn't shoot Daryl?

Agree, I'm thinking Dwight did it to only disable him. Also wonder if Neegan gave orders to take the Alexandria crew alive.

So I have missed the last two weeks. From reading here it appears the doctor is dead and most of our cast are falling into the hands of Negan. And this Sunday is the season finale, is that right? Should be gruesome.

I have to say that, other than the last 15 minutes, the finale was a huge snoozefest for me. I didn't think there was any reason to drag that on for 90 minutes.
It was kind of cool to see "Trevor" from the Grand Theft Auto video game series as one of the Saviors. He also did a guest spot on season one of Better Call Saul towards the end of season 1. He was the guy that Mike beat up in the parking garage when he was doing the protection job for the geeky guy.
The guy who is playing Neegan (I have no idea who he is or what other roles he's played) is really good. On the Talking Dead afterwards, the guy who wrote the comics said that if you thought about it and the series had started by following Neegan instead of Rick, the audience would have likely seen him as the "Hero" last night instead of the villain. It is just a matter of audience perspective, had we grown attached to the Saviors from the beginning, we would have likely been pretty excited to see Neegan take vengeance on one of Ricks group after the things they have done over the past few episodes.

The only problem with that is that we would also already be privy to the horrible things he does to his own people. I don't see how he can make that statement. If he had said that the audience knew nothing of the two groups and just witnessed the past 6 episodes I would agree with that. I will refrain from providing details but if we followed him from the beginning there is no way anyone would see him as a hero.
The way it ended was horrible. As a buddy put it, now they are going to see if Norman's new show is a hit. If so, they will kill him off; if not, it will be someone else. That is a terrible way to treat an audience.

So all we really know now is that is could not have been Carol or Morgan who dies. Must be weird for the cast to not even know. They don't know if they'll show up to film next season and be told to go home the same day!

I think we tend to ignore some of the horrible things that Rick and company have done or contemplated doing just because they are being presented as the "Good Guys". I really do see his point that it is a matter of perspective, even the good guys at this point are pretty bad.
I think everyone getting all worked up over Norman Reedus new show is kind of overblown. It was a six episode show that has him and a guest riding motorcycles in different parts of the country. I hardly think that this is going to be a huge stepping stone for him.

Has Rick and gang ever made it a rule to murder one person in any new group to make a point or elect to take women as wives and burn the face of any husband/boyfriend with an iron that protests, force other communities to provide him with everything or he kills everyone? I don't recall Rick's group doing any of that so I don't see how it is a matter of perspective. No doubt Rick's group has made some questionable choices but none come close to what the saviors do.

I do keep wondering about the status of women in Negan's group. Rick's group has always had strength because everyone, including women and children, learns the basic of fighting off walkers. None of the groups that stopped Rick on any of the roads appeared to have any women in them. So can we assume the saviors have at least double the numbers that we actually see?

Since I don't read the comic I didn't know he was THAT bad. A co-worker of mine had pointed out some foreshadowing throughout the season that make Michonne a good candidate for Lucille. I think we all know who it will REALLY be but it's fun to toss around theories.

I think that the season ending cliff hanger was a bit of a cop out and I think there is some backlash among viewers. All of the hype leading up to the season finale indicated that there would be a shocking moment, but without knowing who the victim is, it's kind of pointless. They really didn't need this hook to guarantee people will tune back in come October.
