So, what does everyone think of the latest season? I never really did pick up on why the walkers all gathered in the quarry...was it because the sound echoing of the walls drew more and more of them? And how did the truck/trailers get backed up into just the right orientation of block the walkers? There is more to the quarry than has been let on so far...

It was a good start to the season. But not as action packed as I had expected. But its nice to see Alexandria warming up to Sheriff Rick and his deputies. Really, they have no choice. I also like the Morgan/Rick dynamic, but I'm not sure it will stay so warm and fuzzy for very long.

Oh! And Enid! While she wasn't in the 1st episode at all, seeing her on a preview of ep 2 makes us think that she is a "wolf" in sheep's clothing!!! There was always something off about that girl.

I'm not sure how the walkers ended up in the quarry. I think there was a camp in the quarry and one infected person got in and turned the whole camp. Maybe the camp blocked the way in/out in the hopes of keeping zombies from getting in?

I think it is hilarious that Morgan is totally reading Carol.

Seriously, the horn blowing is a rival faction who I think were planning to take a truckload of walkers into the town and unleash them on the unsuspecting (and unarmed) populace. Not sure if their timing on the horn blowing is planned, coincidence, or what...

Its l about to hit the fan! While this ep may not have been as action packed as I'm used to, I'm sure I won't be disappointed in the coming episodes! (Can I say how much I LOVE that the comic is out there, and while they don't follow it exactly, there are still major spoilers!)

I was happy with epi 1 for the season. It was good go get in a couple of laughs and then the utter shock at the horn blowing!

In the preview, she (Enid-?) wrote on the steamy or dirty window, JSS. What does that stand for?

Would staying still work? I couldn't help but wonder last night why no one camouflages themselves with zombies. If those who were in the woods trying to keep the zombies on the road would have done so, then

One more thing...when you have the walkers all in a nice line between two rows of parked cars, why not just fire up a couple of 18-wheelers and roll down the road towards them and turn them all into zombie paste...? Or better yet, a couple of National Guard tanks...?

Episode 1 was great. I LOVE the Rick/Morgan dynamic. It looks like Morgan will be Rick's new Dale/Hershel (the moral compass)
I don't think they ever specified how the walkers all ended up in the quarry, just that they did and that the trucks blocked them in. They did say the quarry was what was keeping Alexandria safe from a full-on walker invasion.
I don't know if the horn is being blown by the Wolves or by that kid that the father got killed by Rick. He looked mad that Enid was sitting with Carl.
Cannot wait for the rest of the season !!!! Love that Michone is back with the kitana

Last night's episode was awesome. The rift between Morgan and the group is getting bigger. When you are under attack, I don't think a broom handle is going to be the answer.

I think quite to the contrary about the rift between Morgan and the group. I think he will start to realize that killing when you have to is apart of survival. And he did just that when he killed the last Wolf he faced. And what if he had killed the two that attacked him before he found Alexandria? Would they have found the pictures that Aaron left lying around? Would the Wolves attack never have happened then? (All good points/questions brought up on Talking Dead.)

I love that we got to see the "real" Carol come out for this episode.

I liked Carol's approach to dealing with the wolves. I would like to develop a similar approach to dealing with people who repeatedly screw up CIP.

Has anyone else heard this theory?

Morgan has been a little all over the place. Remember how he was a couple of seasons ago when Rick, Carl, and Michonne ran across him? He was a complete nut job but now he is very Zen. It would be nice if he and the group can get on the same page.

I have heard the first theory about Enid. I don't see that as being true but you never know.

I thought it was hilarious that Carl took out Carol's casserole when the timer went off. I would not want to explain to her how I let it burn.

Seems like the only Alexandrians left are those with Rick, the mayor, the love interest, the doctor with panic attacks, and a few kids.

Thoughts on last nights episode?? I knew the spoilers before hand so my husband and I weren't shocked, but we still can't believe they would do it. Which is why I believe he will somehow get out of it!

All around a very intense episode.

I didn't breath most of the show.

Here's my theory on what will happen:

It was not Glenn's entrails being devoured, but the guy who shot himself in the head. I think Glenn will squeeze under the dumpster and wait the zombies out (if Rick manages to get the part of the herd that broke off to join up with the main herd somehow by making a loud noise).

Rick will either hole up in the RV until the herd passes or will jump out, machine gun a few of them, and then out run them to safety.

Only Jesus can save Glenn now.

I had to take several episodes off after Andrea died. I'm wondering now if I'll have to take another break to deal with my grief! Except, then I wouldn't know how the current cliff-hangers work out.....

I hadn't seen any of this season yet, so watched all three last night. If I hadn't had the Talking Dead to "debrief" over, I don't think I would have slept very well!
