While I don't necessarily agree with the ruling, the dilapidated, abandoned buildings were not worth $200 million till AFTER they were 'vandalized'. The owner could have handled this much differently but I think the judge overreached some too.

Why? it is his building last I checked (until this ruling) he could do with it as he chooses.

PS: I used to pass this mess of a building on the train daily one would need to trespass to tag it.

I wonder if the judge would be so eager to defend "outdoor aerosol art" applied to property he owns.

I wonder why trespassing didn't play a bigger part in the owner's defense. It will be interesting to see how this plays out under appeal.
