I had a GMC Blazer once that was the "victim". Whether hitting a deer or sitting at a red light and a huge piece of ice falls on the windshield or someone runs a red light and hits me or someone changed lanes and hit me or having a turkey in full flight take off the drivers side mirror...... Haven't had an issue since I got rid of that vehicle. I swear that white Blazer had a huge red invisible target on it.

My son killed his first grouse this past weekend. We weren't hunting grouse, and he wasn't even carrying a gun. We were walking through the woods checking our trail cameras when he flushed the grouse out of some brush. It flew down over an embankment about 150 yards and into the path of car. They are tricky to hit with a shotgun, but at least they are edible afterwards.

The aforementioned Mustang has $7500 damage from the hail. The hood and trunk have to be replaced. I stopped at the body shop after meeting with the adjustor. I am #85 on their list of hail damage customers, but I think they will slide me up the list since (a) this is the third time the car has been there in 12 months, and (b) I had a check in hand from the adjustor.

Every time I got the hail damage fixed, it would hail again. It got to the point that I stopped getting it fixed.

The Mythbusters proved that a car dimpled like a golf ball will get much better gas mileage.

Dry Ice is supposed to pull a lot of those dings out. A lot of people around here just leave it. If you are short and never see the roof why bother?

I've seen it happen. At a former employer there was this crusty old collector who would clean his ears with his keys, clean his fingernails with his pocketknife, then use the same pocketknife (without cleaning it!) to cut up an apple. :shudder:
