Got an MRI on my head and, contrary to popular belief, there is a brain up there!

Ten years ago, I had a stent put in my left anterior descending artery and I got to watch my heart beat on a monitor during my few moments of awareness.

I had a colonoscopy a few months ago and a few people were quite amazed that they did not, in fact, find my head.

I find myself coming to the cooler less and less because I have to wade through all these nonsense threads. BOL needs to create the ability to block certain threads so they don't overtake the entire page.

It was always my impression that the Cooler was for nonsense. AKA, Cooling off. ::shoulder shrug::

I am with Minion...what is the issue with the current threads? If you aren't interested, don't read/participate.

It certainly isn't as lively in here as it used to be, but it was nonsense then, and it is now.

The powers that be can certainly edit any post or thread they want to.

I'm fine with 1 thread like that, but we have 3 word association and now a song titles? I get blowing off steam, but I must not get the appeal...

After what we do all day with heavy reading and researching, doing something mindless is a relief.

I hear you Matt and Pale, every time I log in I keep wishing I could block only those ones as they don't interest me and while only mildy so, they are annoying to have to scroll over every single time.

Actually there is an additional thread for the rules so one would need to look down to 6

After Friday, I think Tuesday might be my 2nd favorite day of the work week. 1) It's not Monday; and 2) I don't have to take the trash barrels out or bring them in when I get home.
