We are migrating to a paperless environment (not sure how feasible that really is in BSA compliance) but I am so nervous at the thought of destroying all my files....

We have signature pads in the lender's offices, are going live with electronic closings (minus residential mortgages, but we're getting there soon too), compliance and audit may be the last two paper-consuming staff we have!

Love being paperless now, but it was scary at first.

I was in Mexico last week and wanted the concierge to make a dinner reservation for me. She was talking on the phone to someone at the restaurant trying to spell my 10 letter Irish name. She looks at me and says, "They say your name is too long." So I said just use my first name. When I get to the restaurant and tell the hostess my first name, she's says, "So tell me what your last name?" You'd think it was a name from a Doug Adams book, like Slartibartfast. By the way, the hostess/waitress was named YaYa.
