Mississippi Blood by Greg Iles. Finishing up this trilogy. It is a tome. But I was able to pick up a used copy at a book store in St Paul for half price, so that was a plus.

Just finished the Bone Tree. I'm taking a small Penn Cage break before I pick up Mississippi Burning.

Right now I'm reading the 15:17 to Paris about the three American boys who took down the terrorist on the train to Paris.

Went to the book club on Saturday to have the discussion for Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon. I did enjoy hearing others' takes on it and some enjoyed more than I did, a couple maybe less. I gave it 2.5 stars.

The new book we were given is The Lilac Girls, which I am excited for because it is on my Amazon Wish List. I do tend to enjoy historical fiction.

On the off chance Happy is here after his lottery win last night, I have a question about Myron Bolitar. I'm a few novels into the season and there some allusion to Myron and Win working for the government but nothing definitive. Does that information become more clear in later novels?

Book 2 in the Bobiverse series - hoping to pace it just right so I can phase right into book 3 when it drops on Tuesday.

Finally finished House of Leaves. If you're looking for a unique reading experience, I would recommend this book.

Currently reading A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess.

I had never heard of House of Leaves. That does sound very interesting. I might give it a try over a weekend when a storm is coming in.

Just finished The Good Girl by Mary Kubica. I'm not a fan of the writing style but the story was interesting.

Started In the Woods by Tana French. I've had it on hold at the library for a long time so I'm very excited!

I'm reading Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut, retrieved from a dusty bookshelf in my basement. I read it while I was in college, but that was so long ago that I've forgotten most of it. I always liked his sarcasm and sense of humor. I think a lot of people would find parts of it to be in bad taste or juvenile. It has nothing to do with breakfast cereal.
