Yeah, my dad purchased a first-year-of-production K-Car, a Plymouth Reliant, for use as a commuter. Once out of warranty, and despite excellent maintenance, the head of a valve ended up in the bottom of the oil pan. When one considers the route that valve head had to take to end up there, it is apparent that the engine's problems were most severe.
The classic and collectible car calendars are perennially popular but somehow, the Chrysler K-Car, Ford Granada, and Chevy Citation are never a part of the featured photographs.
Why is that?
