A new employee, hired in February, finished some online compliance training, and emailed me some questions about Reg GG. This was the highlight of my week. We have an employee who cares about compliance enough to come up with questions, and it made me feel useful. Ok, back to drudgery.

I don't think I'm being dramatic at all. I'm just saying that HMDA is sucking the life out of me, one loan at a time.

I guess it's not really kosher at this point to say that new HMDA hasn't been AS bad as i thought it would be? I mean.....it isn't good...but it hasn't been the absolute horror show i thought it would be.

Getting them right before was hard enough. But now trying to get the commercial loan officers to help me out here is like pulling teeth.

We thought there was a bear that was raiding the trashcans and bird feeders in the neighborhood. The neighbor put a trail camera on his bird feeder and discovered that it is not A bear, but rather 4 bears. Looks to be 4 yearling bears, probably about 200 lbs a piece, that have formed a gang. I won't be walking the dog far after dark.

Hitting the golf course for the first time this year tomorrow afternoon....can't wait. Been hitting balls into my net a lot and wanting to see them fly for more than 5 feet.
