Good - glad Lucy is on the mend.

I switched her to "Taste of the Wild" brand food. It is a premium dog food with no grain. I also switched the cat to their brand of cat food. I added it gradually to Lucy's diet but she would eat all of the new food first then the old food. I tried that with the cat, but he would just eat the new food and leave the old sit in his bowl and cry for more of the new.

I am lucky enough - in my mid-forties - to find out that I am extremely allergic to poison ivy. I am at 2 1/2 weeks, still getting new outbreaks. I've had steroid shot, steroid cream and now prednisone.

I'm starting to feel pretty manly.

I found that out several years ago as well. To get the full experience, you need to hit a patch of it with the weed eater, mince it up, and have it land on your exposed legs, arms, and hands. I have never been more uncomfortable in my life and it wasn't until I was fully recovered that I realized what it was.

Truth!

Yes... we did a bunch of landscaping over Memorial Day weekend and it must have been in the weeds I pulled. At first I thought (because we had dug into some brown ants) I thought maybe I had some super itchy ant bites.. or bites from some other critters... on my arm. But then it spread to my legs, neck and abdomen like wildfire about a week later. About 2 days after that, I called the doc.

Next time, I will know sooner and know what to do faster!

If I say "I'm sorry" about something, I don't need anyone to tell me "No need to be sorry." Leave me alone. I want to be sorry. Geesh.

Recovering from a one day flu. Just glad I was able to race home fast enough to not end up in a public bathroom yesterday.

We had so much rain we have a new pond out back of the bank and the night drops was flooded along with all the deposits in it.
