That's definitely nuts. My niece's kids started school today in the snow. They live in one of the canyons outside of Denver/Boulder. They have snow gear, but Sept 8th?

Couldn't agree more. Why do we have to play games with our clocks...WHY!?!?!?!

There were a lot of complaints when this was tried for a couple of years in the 70's. People don't like having sunrise after 8 AM during the winter.

Yeah.......young kids at the bus stop in total darkness is why this will never happen. Standard time all year long....maybe. But not daylight savings time all year long. No matter what we do.....people will complain. That's what we do.

There is a bill in the GA state legislature to do away with Daylight Savings time and do Standard Time year round. Hopefully, when we "Fall Back" it will be the last time change for us.

I wish they would leave it be now that we have sprung forward. I love having so much more daylight in the evening! My husband and I will be outside until 9:30 or 10:00 in the summer because it's still light. Nothing I hate worse than coming home from work and it being dark by the time I have cooked dinner......

She's going to stay in PA and attend IUP. She was looking at Oklahoma State and a university in OH.
