Do you consider the loan document date as the day of consumption or the date they signed?

I know it say: After a consumer has entered into a transaction or established an account, but just need a little clarification on this.

The date of consummation would be governed by state law. Most states considered consummation as the date the consumer becomes liable on the debt which is generally the date they sign the contract.
