Overcast and 86 here today......wonderful weather, after the last 2 months.

Forecast highs for next work week--99,100,99,99, 99....yep, that's right....99 degrees on the first day of fall.

LOL....i have....there are things i like about living here......but this summer's weather ain't one of them.

We are going to have a crisp 42 degrees tonight. It's sweater weather here in the Northeast.

Not exactly sure where you are located but I bet I am envious of your winters!

I'm in SE Oklahoma.....i'm sure your winters are more severe than ours....but we're definitely not Phoenix, Arizona when it comes to winter....we get them....we don't get much snow, but we do get ice. But generally speaking, yes, our winters are milder than yours i'm sure.

Yup, winters are very long, snowy and cold here. That's why when I retire, (which is very soon) I'll be hanging in Ft Lauderdale for the winter.

Just another sign of how crazy the weather is here in my part of the world.....had a seriously early first freeze last night, with lows hitting mid to high 20s......high friday is calling for mid 80s.

Big tornado risk in this part of the world today...everyone be safe.

Well, it's been just normal hot here for about the last 3 weeks...highs around 90. Next week, the forecast shows the 100s coming back .....5 straight days at 100 or better (presumably beyond that...that's as far as the forecast goes). All of this before the official beginning of summer. Last year's summer was really bad....not ready for another one like that.

If you're experiencing more pleasant weather, please post...i'd like to live vicariously through you.

A little cloudy today - high of 78. Mostly sunny for the next week with the highest temperature of 85. Tough living at the ocean.

Low 70's here with a little bit of wildfire haze. It's been unusually dry, but we have a good chance of rain over the weekend and until early next week

it was 92 yesterday, but our humidity has been unseasonably low, just 51%, so it only felt like 95 instead of 105. it is currently raining, so the temps have dropped to low 80s for the moment. once it stops and the sun reappears, back to 90+

We had our summer at the end of May-first of June (sunny and warm). Since last Friday it has been rainy and in the 50s. We are supposed to get a bit of a break in the weather Sunday-Monday, but then it is back to rain and 60s the rest of the week.

The only good thing is, I think the low pressure system parked over our neck of the woods is keeping the Canadian smoke away from our area.

I had golf ball sized hail and a lightning strike in the back yard this morning.

Yikes! Darkest i think i've ever seen it at 9 this morning, but ultimately just rained really hard. Potential for more storms through tomorrow morning.....then 98s and 99s (they've dropped it from the low 100s) beginning Friday for many days.

I think i was premature last year....looks like this year could be even worse. Only June, and the 15 day shows 99-104 every day, with heat indexes in the "warning" zones (over 105) pretty much every day. Heat index tomorrow here is supposed to be 111...and again, it's only June. Hard to imagine things getting better in July and August. We would occasionally get summers like this back in the 70s and 80s, but then we'd get a milder summer somewhere to make up for it. Every summer nowadays is super hot....abnormally hot.
