Does anyone use any type of fraud detection methods during the loan application process?

If the applicant does not "pass" i.e., is determined to be a potential fraud case, what adverse action reason is given?

Thanks.

Jack,
We use the OFAC list and the CBI. I am not sure, but my guess is that a good reason for adverse action on a suspected fraud case would be "Information provided cannot be verified". That is kind of a generic, "politically correct" way of saying "no!".
