What a gift you're able to give your child I know it's stressful as all get out, but try to think of the good. I'd love to be able to give my good friend the gift of life, despite the worry and stress. You're lucky And your little lovey bear is such a lucky girl to have such a great mom!

And if the docs drive you nuts...bake them brownies with exlax in them...AFTER THE SURGERY! heh heh

bjp: It's the surgeons. (Actually one of the fellows could not attend on the original Feb. 2. And Natalie's surgeon won't do transplants on Fridays if he can help it - do to the critical nature of the days following the transplant and the fact that it's basically a skeleton crew working on weekends)

Miss Natalie is again a very sick little girl.
We are on our way to Children's Memorial right now. I'm signing off after I type this to drive there. Her tummy is huge (fluid collecting around the organs due to end stage liver disease) and they are going to try to tap it tomorrow.
