It's been 4 years since I first posted about my daughter Natalie being listed for a new liver. And 4 years since manty of you here on BOL came together to contribute your prayers, warm wishes, funds to her benefit, and love to our daughter.

There is power in prayer.

4 years ago, I reflected on the season of advent on my personal webpage, for we too were waiting - for a liver.

Isn't God glorious?

(Natalie is the one on the left)

Thanks to all of you for your love and support.
May each of you receive His blessings this Christmas.

She is just beautiful. I cant believe how big she is getting!

We know what she is thankful for (loved the Twinkies), but what has she asked Santa to bring her for Christmas?

Thanks!

Jen,
last night Natalie said, mom, here's my list...
::Big breath::
a barbie house, a Hannah Montana outfit for my build-a-bear, maybe a Hannah Montana doll, that one toy I saw - you remember the one, right mom, the one with the dots (thank goodness I do remember smile ) and a tree.
Since we just moved into the new house, we still haven't gotten the tree - but we will cut one down this weekend.

She also asked her Grandparents on her daddy's side for a Ruthie American girl doll and asked my parents for a Leapster. The kid is specific in her requests, I'll give her that smile

You CAN still help, Tigg. Go here and buy a cookbook to help defray the cost of Natalie's health care. Natalie's story is included in each one. The cookbooks are great and make fabulous stocking stuffers that people really appreciate and use. I know...I gave a dozen of them when they first came out and people still tell me about different recipes they've tried from it.

dittos what the Truff said!

I got 4 for this past Christmas. The book is very professionally done and the recipes are great. And it is fun to get the recipe authors' autographs when you run into them at trainings, queen convocations, nights on the town, whatever.......

So we got some not so good news yesterday at the hospital - more at the web site.

I know we've been through worse. I know that.

And I know, I just know that this too shall pass...but I just don't know if I have the strength to keep going for roller coaster rides. frown

Say a prayer, would you?

I saw this when I checked your website this morning but had not been able to send thoughts your way yet. Continuing prayers from PA and knowing that you have the strength and the Faith that you need to get over this new hurdle. It is so hard to be on a roller coaster but the Guy at the controls wont leave you stranded. Hang in there and know that thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thank you. I must share that last night Natalie received the Annointing of the Sick sacrament and not a dry eye was in the house. She is in youth choir while I am a youth group leader. The choir kids and our priest all came into youth group and there they stood, ages 5 to 10, circled around Natalie praying with here. It really was a sight to see as all these kids layed hands on Natalie and prayed along with us for her healing.
