Okay so there is this guy that I've been talking to for about a month that I met on Match.com. He lives in Salt Lake City and I was going to go down there this weekend to meet him. We talk all the time on the phone, but I was getting this odd feeling about the weekend, not sure how to explain it. Well he offered to let me stay with him, and I didnt really want to. I talked a friend of mine into going with me as support. He just flipped out when I told him. He said I was playing games that I should know him better than that. I'm pissed, he has plans for his buddies to go out with us all weekend long, but when I say that I'm bringing a friend he gets mad and tells me I'm playing games. I will be out numbered and I dont feel comfortable with that. What should I do?

Forget the Match.com guy (games games games) and forget the cop - What is so hard about meeting some face to face andgetting to know that person, in person. Stop with the Cop, and most of all Ang, stop thinking you need to hook up with someone all the time. Enjoy life, enjoy your friends, and the yum-yum stuff will come naturally - and I am not saying that yum-yum has to be a relationship, but it is soooo much better when you have either seen the person or when it is someone who actually looks forward to seeing you, rather than you worying about if you are intrduing.

Ang, I'd run far and fast from the Salt Lake City guy! If he wants to meet you face to face, he should come to where you are first. As a single woman, even with a friend there as support, I would not go to where he is. Being in an unfamiliar town and meeting a man for the first time is a potential recipe for disaster! If he's having a fit about you bringing support, he may not have your best intentions in mind.
