I hate to say this, but it's getting boring with no drama going on. Must have drama

I have to agree. There is really nothing going on in any thread... Give me a bit, and I could probably make up something...

Ok, let's start with her Wal-Mart addiction. Since we've been married, I haven't gone a whole week without going to Wal-Mart... For some unknown reason, if she is shopping, she needs me to be right by her side. She even got pi$$ed off at me on my birthday because I refused to drive the 30+ miles to damn Wal-Mart.
and it's not because she doesn't have car that she needs me to drive her, (we've been married 11 months and she is on her third car, but that's a different story) so I don't know what it is...

Hows that for starters Angelina?

Too bad you didnt go last week, Jeremy was in FL.

Okay so where do I begin? Oh my heck. Well first of all, and no offense to anyone, I love you all....the obession with Wal-Mart is just unhealthy. Although I hate the Big W, I do go there, but not that frequently. How old is your wife? Maybe she has a shopping problem? If that's the case, maybe you should be thankful she's addicted to W instead of my addction to the shoe dept. at Norstrom (not Nordstroms). Now keep in mind, this is my expert opinion, LOL...Maybe someone needs to grow up and you need to take away the checkbook until she can learn to save and only go to W only 2 times a month? Okay more to come tomorrow. I know y'all cant wait!

lol, you are too funny.

I've tried that, but it ends up to be a big fight until I finally give in. (I have a soft heart and tears can break me in two) And as for your other question, we are both 22. She's 17 days older than me.

The real question is how much is she spending at Wally World? If the damage isn't too bad then you should just be happy she isn't a mall shopper. As for her wanting you to come with her as long as it doesn't interrupt football you should go. Very soon you are going to be trying to find ways to spend time with her.

Can’t help you with the wife wanting you by here side while she shops. Is that some sort of anomaly?

Perhaps a bribe is in order. I’m all for giving the wife money if she just leaves me alone on a Sunday afternoon in the fall and winter. "Here dear, here’s $20, $40, or even $100."

I figure I’m just sitting around watching football, what do I need with the money? As long as there is some skim milk in the fridge and perhaps some microwave popcorn and some chips, I’m fine. I can survive the whole day on those.

Heck, there are six other days of the week to spend with her, Sunday during football season is mine, all mine. (I guess it’s a good thing my wife doesn’t read this, huh?)

Ok - Ang, you want drama - let me tell you what happened on my vacation this past week.

1. 34 yo divorcee approaches me at church camp - was a close friend of my sister's while growing up. Came by my parent's house Sunday night while I was there. Called me this morning. Hadn't seen her in a couple of years.

2. 28 yo divorcee with a 5 y.o. boy - tells my sister-in-law that she is 'interested' (that gets us back to the ole messenger thing) - so we spend some time at church camp/retreat chatting. She called me at 5 am yest morning to see if my flights were confirmed, and has e-mailed me a couple of times already.

3. Ex from Idaho called and left a message Sunday night.

4. Friend right here in town I've been pondering asking out.

(The church camp/retreat was in IL - my home state)

Man - no dating/activity for a while and now inundated - now to be fair I don't think I can 'see' more than one at a time - that just wouldn't be right - but good gosh - how to decide!!!! Now that's drama!!

It's not a whole lot of money, $20 here $40 there. It's just I am tired when I get home and want to relax. Every day it's the same thing, I get off work and drive the hour drive home, then have to drive the 30min back to the damn store, then we have to stay there for at least an hour then finally I get to drive another 30min back home and get to relax at about 10:30 every night... I didn't mind too much when it started, but now I get so bugged everytime she calls me to tell me that we have to go to Wal-Mart after I get off work.

I'm not the ex from Idaho, just to clarify that for everyone.

Time to switch over to player mode Tex. I'm going to let my friend Blue handle this situation as I am not a player Wait I am...DOH!!

My little brother has that same problem with his GF. He used to work nights and when he'd get home in the mornign she'd want all of his attention. Even now when he works normal hours she wants him to go everywhere with her and she wont go alone. I think she has a little co dependentcy issue. I guess I'm too independent for my own good.

Although the ex from Idaho is also from Boise - however she is science/math/computer teacher at a magnet middle school.

GRIN - now how's that for being close to home, ANg?

Thanks for the advise Mr. Peepers, but I've already tried the bribe act. I've even gone as far as trying to get my neighbor's girlfriend to go shopping with her instead of me. It turns out that in the 3 hours that they were out shopping they decided that they hated each other. (and just when I thought I was home-free too.)
