Alright, it's Monday morning. Its time to start lining up dates for the weekend. I'm thinking sushi by Newport Harbor and taking a stroll among the yachts.

If it swims, it's not dead yet. Besides, there is a cuisine for every imaginable taste, and I'll pretty much eat anything not bolted down. Reconsider?

Ok...I guess I should have said "anything that use to swim".

I'm kind of a steak and potato girl. But I did go to a great Thai restaurant a couple of months ago.

Ok...but, generally not by choice. Most cows I've had prefer to wade in the pond.

I give up. I'm an incredibly picky eater...how's that?

I am a picky eater as well. There are only a few foods that I eat that used to live in water.

On the steak question...are you more of a high-falootin' filet mignon kind of girl? or more of a good ole-fashioned ribeye girl?I prefer ribeye myself.

I'll eat any kind of steak...except prime rib...don't like it much. Probably because I prefer them medium over rare.

A good filet would probably be my favorite...with a NY strip second.

Now that's just not right!

I don't think you could be pickier than me...I'm pretty bad.

Hmmm, here's a quick list of things I don't eat/drink:

steak, potatos (in any form other than thin french fries), salad, vegetables, pretty much anything that grows (outside of cows and chickens), seafood, iced tea, coffee

Things I do eat:

cheeseburgers, pizza, hot pockets, bologna & cheese, chicken strips/fingers/patties

Ok...I still think I could give you a run for your money.

I don't like milk, yogurt, cheese, etc...but will eat mozzarella on pizza and nacho cheese and tons of ice cream.

I don't like tomatoes...but will eat ketchup, spaghetti sauce and salsa (no chunks).

I don't eat cooked fruit (no pie, jelly) but love it raw. Pretty much the same way with veggies.

I like the flavor onions and mushrooms give food...but wont eat them either.

I only eat white meat on chicken/turkey.

No eggs and no processed meat.

I'm picky too (the girlfriend is learning my habits):

Cheese: Pizza-form, Nacho-form, or Cheeto-form. Everything else in moderation.
Mushrooms, Pickles, Mayo: Not in anyform, anyway. It also contaminates the food it touches. If I eat any of the above, my stomach says "Nope. Sorry. Go back the way you came, and take your friends with you."
Tomatoes: never raw, sometimes cooked (if small enough). Ketchup is not a tomato (I hate people that say that.... is there vinegar in YOUR tomato?!)
Eggs: Scrambled only, and from MY frying pan. I hate (HATE) 'flat' eggs (when you let them sit cooking in the pan too long, keep them moving and they are good). I can tolerate scrambled eggs from my girlfriend's frying pan, and maybe my moms. If I get them at a restaurant, it better be late and I better not be sober.
I like the flavor of green peppers, but won't eat them.

Jen and blue, meet me, a picky eater

I don't like cheese, except on pizza or mexican and only if it has to have it.

I don't like chocolate, not in any form, especially cake.

I don't like peas (green mush balls, YUCK!!!), beets, beans of any kind

I don't like potatoes, unless they are fried or raw. Sometimes I'll eat them mashed, but never baked.

I don't eat eggs.

I don't eat a lot of seafood, only tuna on occassion, shrimp and only scampi

I don't like lasagna

I don't like things that are "stuffed"

Hahaha! I usually only watch this thread (you guys are kind of my daily version of General Hospital) and never chime in but this is too funny! I am also picky and it is nice to see that I am not alone!

I don't like: onions, tomatoes, dark meat, pork (except bacon), pretty much any vegetable, papaya, salad, ANY meant from fast food restaurants, eggs, any kind of nut, popcorn, gristle (if I see it, or feel it in my mouth, I will probably spew), bell peppers, shellfish of all kinds, ketchup, peanut butter, mushrooms, and milk. I am sure I could think of other things but there is only so much time in the day!

And the one thing I hate more than anything...food that touches other food! I cannot stand it! I know it all goes to the same place but it is horrendous to me when my food touches while it is still on the plate. And casseroles?? Forget about it! Just the thought makes me ill!

<As Tex ambles back up to the campfire for his 6th meal this week of beans, bacon and cornbread - he marveled at the conversation around him - how did these people survive? Grub is grub and folks oughta be darn glad they have it, he thought - well he could remember his last trail drive - 3 days in the rain with nothin' but cold beans and hardtack - he would never complain about Cookie again - at least the beans are hot and the cornbread salty. Now this is a man's food, not that namby-pamby stuff them city folk are wishin' for!!>

haha! i only eat my own eggs too! i tried to teach my boyfriend how to scramble them the way i do, but they just aren't the same. lucky for him i insist on cooking breakfast! here's how i cook them all yummy... in a pan, melt butter with small diced onion or dried onion flakes and a little garlic salt. once its all melted, put in the eggs- no milk!!! eew! stir them up really well. when they are still a little wet, add a good amount of grated cheddar. finish cookign and top with a letter ground pepper... yummy!
