I did curves years ago.. showed up one night to workout- found a notice on the door that they had closed and would not be reopening... totally strange.... I picked this gym to be able to intermingle with everyone... yet seems I'm having a hard time just breaking ice with people... I pop my headphones in and go about my workout. Also at curves... I was always in the cool down area.. the music would get me so pumped that I'd get busy working out.. then my heart rate would be too fast..

i like curves because i dont have to feel self-consious about being in my ugly workout clothes, i dont have to wait for a machine and it only takes 30 minutes... then i go to a yoga class wed nights where its coed but we aren't supposed to talk during that

At the gym I attend...so far I've not had to wait for any of the machines I work on...yoga.. that sounds like fun. Getting back into the rountine of working out has made me realize how much I miss kick-boxing.

Regarding: Gym Guy

Okay... so I finally suck it up and decided to be the first to actually go up and talk...instead of continuing the eye contact, waveing, blushing and following through with our own routines.

Last night at the gym... he was there again... again we make eye contact and wave... I make a few more laps around the track... when I think to myself... heck.. what do I have to lose... I'll go and say hi.

So I approach him... only to find out that 11 years have passed between the two of us... and he remembers me.. yet I can't remember him.... He was my classmate. He just moved back home from Germany.... and has only been back for 2 1/2 weeks.

So we spend the next 15-20 min talking before we realize the gym is about to close and he needs to complete his workout.

Anyways... just wanted to give ya guys an update.

Like I thought... he was just being polite...

Oh I didn't care that he didn't request my phone number or such... we talked about quiet a bit... it's been 11 years... a lot has happened in our lifes. We talked about what we have been doing since we graduated... I asked if he had married... had children... no to both questions... said he just started college as soon as we graduated and then in 98 went off to the service... I asked if he was completely finished...with no chance of being deployed and he said yes. He's been finished with the service but was working at the base there in Germany for the last 8 months...but was tired of the service and needed a change so he came back home.

Talked about where we work... ya know... just small stuff... people we went to school with.. sad thing.. we both had a hard time remembering most of our classmates...

Okay.. so I called a friend of mine.. that used to work here with me... she and her husband graduated with myself and the gym guy. Anyways... she said he was extremely shy in school... and that she and her husband had bumped into him at the gym and talked to him... so I got some more info on him... which is good... for me... LOL...
