We are currently a Jack Henry bank (Banker II) and are looking at the possibility of upgrading to their Silverlake system. Would anyone be willing to state any advantages/disadvantages of this product, and if it has any benefits for compliance? Thanks.

We're a Silverlake bank, but we haven't used Banker II so I unfortunately can't do much in the way of a comparison. If you have some specific questions I can try to answer those however.

We have been a Silverlake bank since about 1991. When I identify compliance issues I work directly with JHA to explain why I think we need a change, additional support, etc. Sometimes I get the change, sometimes I don't. For the most part, I find the system to be very user friendly and compliant. If there are any specific issues you wish to discuss you can send me a private message.

We are also a Banker II bank. Why are you wanting to change? Is Silverlink an upgrade or downgrade? If you really want to change look at Core Director.

Is Core Director a Jack Henry product?

Yes. Core Director is the upgrade (in my little mind) from Banker II or Banker E.
I am new to this site, but you can email me at the http://osg.jackhenry.com site(I help with the site). In fact there is a discussion about upgrading Banker II going on now. This site is available to any OSG bank (Jack Henry Bank), Core Director, Banker II and Banker E.

I'm recruiting for someone to do training on Silverlake as we convert all of our banks over to it. Ideally, I'd like someone with actual loan processing experience on Silverlake, and training background would be a nice plus. Headquartered out of Lansing, Michigan but on the road 50% of the time throughout the eastern U.S. Anyone have a referral for me?

Ben, is this a full time position with your company or a sub-contractor type position?

We upgraded from Liberty to Silverlake in 2002 and haven't looked back. There is so much you can do with SL that there are user groups all over the area just to get together and find out how much you DON'T utilize the product. I have no complaints. We also use Pinpoint, Streamline, YellowHammer, Silhouette and Vertex, all from JHA. We've had good support with all these products, to my knowledge.

Hello- We offer commericial online banking- and we are looking for JHA/Silverlake user groups we can attend to demo our products and services. Do you know any of these user groups in the Western US, or West Coast?
