1.) Green Day - Aug 17, 2005 (I'm 49 and have attended concerts for 35 years and I've never seen ANYONE work a crowd like Billie Joe Armstrong. Most fun I've ever had at a concert.) 2.) ZZ Top - 1973 (these guys could smoke when they were young. Now just a ghost of what they once were.)

Quote: Bset concert I ever saw was Joe Jackson at Redrocks (Berlin was opening act - they were ok too). Close seconds were Billy Joel, Michael Jackson (yeah yeah, I know - but he was awesome), and Scandal (only because I saw them just as they cam on the scene and it was in a small bar and Patty rocked)
I am not a big concert goer, but I am going to see U2 tomorrow - not a huge fan, but a friend has a skybox and it's free, as is the booze and food, so who am I to not give Bono a chance?!
CD
Well even though Bono managed to play until 11:30 and thereby has madde my day today miserable, as a non-avid concert-goer, I will say that U2 was very good and Bono's voice is excellent. Wouldn't add to my list of best concerts, but it was surprisingly good. Played a lot of old stuff, which was a good thing for me.
