I just want to say congrats to the Eagles for suspending this fool of a cancer for the rest of the season. And give my regrets to everybody who blew a fantasy pick on this underperformer.

I give them credit for disciplining this arrogant, selfish cry baby. From the sounds of it,there was a lot more behind the scenes than we knew about. But, did they really think they could turn him around when they signed him?

Now the big question.....Which team takes a chance on T.O. and picks him up after he's cut at the end of the season?

Living in the SF Bay Area and being a 49ers fan for over 30 years, I had the "honor" of watching TO for five(?) years. I consider the Niners to be lucky that they were able to unload TO. We knew that the Eagles were making a big mistake. Which team will step up and give him another chance?

I think the eagles have to try to trade him instead of cut him. Otherwise that signing bonus really hurts their cap for as limited a player he was. Some early indications were that the Bears may be interested, but Thomas Jones was on Strictly Speaking last night and I don't know that T.O. would be welcome there.

One of the highlights of my football watching career was seeing Dexter Coakley knock TO into next week for dancing on the Cowboy's star after a touchdown. Regarding the fine he got for that hit he replied, "worth every penny".

A true cowboys fan would know that it wasn't Dexter Coakley but George Teague. Didn't pay that close attention.

For the quote happy here is some fodder in the unlikely event I am wrong: Eagles go 6-2 the rest of the way.

Sorry Ron, but the Cowboys will defeather the Eagles in the upcoming Monday night game, regardless of how loud and obnoxious the Philly fans are. I like coach Andy and my hat is off to him and the Philly management for finding the brass b___ to can T.O.

Regardless of his actions T.O. had more rec., yards, Td's than all other eagles receivers combined. He was a huge part of that team and now is huge loss. They also have a non-existant running game, McNabb is hurt, and the defense is no where close to what it's been in the past. There is no way they go 6-2 the rest of the way, IMPOSSIBLE!

We'll see. Apparently anon thinks that by removing TO they are only going to play with 10 people or that TO forced to play with him more than would fit the offense or that the mental part of the game will improve with him gone or how much it was inhibited with him being there. Has this anon ever played team sports?

I think the Toronto Argonauts have a better chance of going 6-2 than the Iggles.

Disclaimer: I don’t really think this, I’m just trying to fan the flames.

Whatever happened to B.A. Barackus?

2. Seattle
3. Denver
4. Miami

He'll go to Oakland - that's where where all problem children land.

Could the Eagles be thinking about re-signing Freddie Mitchell?

Ya gotta love his hands.

Every play Moss on the right, T.O. on the left, throw the ball deep down the middle and tell them to go get it. If you had both those guys on the team the tight end would set records because he would always be open.

I didn't say I didn't like the Raiders...Al just tends to go after the NFL badboys. Something needs to balance out those diamond encrusted glasses he wears!

Ron this is anon and I have played team sports. T.O. was a huge part of that team rather you want to admit it or not. My point is that without a running game the eagles will throw the ball alot and with unproven receivers (besides Westbrook)it's going to be hard to move the ball. I don't agree with his actions or the way he does things but he is a great receiver and does alot for a team on the field.

I agree with you about his abilities and their lack of experience. I just think there is no way to quantify the damage he did to the team in so many ways, all of which, I believe, led to their performance on the team to this point. I think we will see a lot more running in the near future. I would never say that TO didn't have talent or that he wasn't THE most talented individual on the team. Football is the sport however where the collective efforts of all 11 players affects the outcome more than any other sport.
