I saw part of the "Little Rascals" movie they made a few years ago. The only thing I remember is the amazingly bizzare scene where Alfalfa sings this song.

How 'bout, "Also Sprach Zarathustra" by Richard Strauss, better known by some as the intro music to "2001: A Space Odessey." (Forgive my probable mispelling of the title.)

Or the Scherzo from Beethoven's 9th Symphony. Gotta love those timpani!

Of course nothing gets the blood running like the first movement from Beethoven's 5th Symphony or the William Tell Overture by Rossini.

Ah - I just had the 'Beethoven's Greatest Hits' CD on in my car last week. I played violin all through high school and love some of the orchestral music. Great stuff! I also absolutely love one of the Brandenburg Concertos.

I feel that way about In My Life by the Beatles. I almost cry every time I hear it. I have requested it be played at my funeral along with Bob Dylan's Every Grain of Sand.
I always thought "For No One" is one of the saddest songs the Beatles ever recorded, even sadder than "Eleanor Rigby."

Johnny Cash does "In My Life" on American IV. It's very different than John Lennon's version, but just as haunting in its own way.
Trivia Bonus: George Martin wrote and played the electric piano solo in the Beatles version. He recorded it at a slower speed and lower pitch and the sped it up for the actual recording of the song.

Then I'm not sure if anyone has seen the movie or not, but it's called Fallen with Denzel in it. Time is on my side. I get goosebumps when I hear that song and think of that dang movie.

Now that you mention it, I think the entire Songs From Black Mountain album fits in this category.
