Where the wind comes sweeping ...
Does anyone have a core system conversion checklist or project log they would be willing to share? We are going from JH 20/20 to Nicola but even if it is another system, it would be helpful just to review for things we have not considered.

We only have 350 items on our list so far - unfortunately I'm sure there are a lot more!

I thought any software provider worth their weight in salt would provide you with everything you need for conversion to thier systems. They sold you the product after all. Is this the software company that operates out of a garage in Oklahoma somewhere?? I think I saw their software once. I hope you are a small bank or it has dramatically improved.

A garage - ouch! I think they have moved up to a double wide now - kidding!!!

Oklahoma - the new Silicon Valley!

They actually are on BOL Vendor Connect. They provide core processing for about 200 different banks. We've done a lot of due diligence and their customers love the system. We looked at their system in 2001 and it has greatly improved over the past 5 years. But yes, we are small - under $500 million. Plus we are going to save about $20,000 a month.

They have provided a conversion list and it focuses on the technical/operational steps to convert. We are just trying to think of other random things that we need to consider like end of year maintenance, order of checks paid, multi-factor auth. compliance, etc.
