More insults, big surprise.

But, a smilie face makes it all OK.

I thought you were ignoring me?

Still a hypocrite, nice to see you are consistent.

You know SourPuss, I do try, oh, do I try, but your ignorance and consistent insults drive me crazy. I admit it.

You are so rude and then cry wolf when someone insults you expecting sympathy.

I will continue to try to ignore your lame and moronic posts, but I just can't continue a promise when I know you might drive me to respond.

Gee, more insults accusing me of making insults. You are the king. Marky, it's such a shame your word is worth nothing (typical Republican) since you have said on more than one occasion that you won't be responding to me. Perhaps you and Haggard could get together and discussing "walking the talk."

I went back and deleted my post.

I am flawed, no question about that.

But, I would rather be my flawed self than someone like you, and for that I thank God each and every day of my life.

Take care of yourself SP.

Hey. finally something we agree on. I sure as [censored] wouldn't want to be anything like you. Talk to you in a couple of days when you start slinging insults about me.

Florida's election law didn't matter - just ask their Supreme Court!

Actually it was the US Supreme Court that said it didn't matter - they struck down the recount process because there were no "statewide standards" in Florida.

They did that under a contrived "equal protection" ruling that said it was “limited to the present circumstances” and could not even be cited as precedent! Courts aren't supposed to make rulings whose reasoning applies only to a single case, but they did. That one was just for George W.

Yeah, and the Florida Supreme Court did not completely disregard deadlines that were written into Florida law, did they?

Actually, that one was just for the Florida Supreme Court, in an effort to fix the unholy [censored] that had been created by their "jurisprudence".

But, by all means, continue to believe that Bush wasn't fairly elected. Either time. It greatly enhances your credibility...

Not.

Anyway. I know it's not dungeons and dragons, but cut me a little slack, Ronno.

In fact, early in the evening during election day in 2000 and it looked like Gore would win in Florida and win the election, sandra day o'conner was quoted as saying, "This is bad." Well, she and the other republican politicians on the Supreme Court went on to fix the election in favor of you-know-who. How could Gore survive when faced with his opponent's brother as governor of Florida, the Florida secretary of state was a bush delegate at the gop convention, and the Supreme Court was stacked against him. The fix was in!!

Just keep believing that. Remember that if Gore would have won his home state, he would have been President.

Well...it's about 10am here in the great state of NJ. Our polls opened up at 6am and will be open until 8pm. I'll be doing my civic duty after I get home from work around 5:15pm, then after dinner with friends, I'll be glued to CNN/MSNBC watching the returns come in. New Jersey will be important tonight, as we go, the country might go. The Democrats must hold onto Menendez' seat if they have any hope of winning the Senate, especially since it appears Ford is headed towards a landslide defeat in Tennessee and the races in Maryland, Missouri, Virginia, and Montana are all neck & neck. The interesting race to watch will be Rep. Ferguson (v) Assemblywoman Linda Stender. The Congressman (since elected in 2000) has been a shoe-in for reelection due to redistricting is in danger of losing his seat, due to the wave building, while the NJ 7th went for Kerry in the 2004 election, it is a very center-right district.
If it is a huge Democratic wave...I'd love to watch Fox News to see how they spin that...

I'm just looking forward to the ads being over and to having two key Republicans go down. Ohio has been a blood bath this election and I'm ready for it to be over.

Yes, that far-right Sandra Day O'Connor - no one could ever expect her to not do every evil conceivable to steal the Presidency for George W. Bush! [/sarcasm]

So, Steven, are you claiming that no Democrat secretary of state was a Gore campaigner?

I have never played online. We do play hold 'em, but as much Omaha as Texas. We also play a lot of seven-card stud and some match-the-pot games.

Actually I think that Fox News does a much better job of reporting than CNN and the ratings would agree with that.

Actually I think that if the democrats win the house that might be a good thing for the republicans as the democrats would actually have to put their plans on the table and not just object to everything. Then the voters would kick them back out of power in 2008.

Faux News has simply found a niche in telling conservatives what they want to hear. All of the other news networks are competing for the other viewers. It's a brilliant strategy by Faux but it has little to do with the quality of reporting. Studies have found that Faux viewers were far more likely to be misinformed about Iraq, for example, than those that got their information from another source. Misperceptions

I based it on the reports on that website. Let me research more and I will get back to you on this.

Also, my main point is that how do you know who is right when it comes to the situation in Iraq?

It is a matter of opinion and of view point, don't you agree?

WOOHOO
The latest scientific CNN poll shows that the Democratic Party has attained a 211% lead over the Republican Party as of the day before the 2006 midterm elections.

A detailed breakdown indicates that respondents on the Democratic side were divided into 2% unlikely to vote, 43% likely to vote once, 21% likely to vote twice, 14% likely to vote three times, 6% likely to vote more often, and 14% ineligible to vote but expected to do so anyway, for a weighted average tally of 191% of eligible voters. On the Republican side, none of the five GOP voters contacted indicated any intention of voting, and one indicated that he had persuaded a friend not to vote, for a weighted average of -20%.

When CNN finally reached someone in at the national Republican Party headquarters after several phone calls and visits indicated that the building had apparently been deserted for some time, an anonymous source told our reporter, "Yeah, we're gonna lose. I'm not going to bother voting, myself, even."
