Well gang, instead of having "visions of sugarplums" in my head last night, I had visions of 314(a) requests in my dreams ALL NIGHT LONG, and I was scared. They just kept coming and coming... was it a dream or was it real???

Andy, that was GREAT. I can't watch scary or suspensful movies at all, but I used to love the Twilight Zone. I watch the new one from time to time, but it's not as good.

Everyone seen the Hitchcock movie, "The Birds"? When I was about three, it came on TV and my parents were watching it. I was supposed to be in bed asleep, but I was hiding in the hall watching that movie. It scared me so much that to this day, if they play an ad for it on TV, my heart starts racing and I get light headed. Childhood trauma! No other scary movies affect me like that, thank goodness.

When I was in 8th grade we watched the Twilight Zone in Spanish Class. I was happy that I understood Spanish enough to wach the show! Spooky!

There were a lot of good ones. I recall one that was a "be careful what you wish for" episode. The guy wanted to be left alone in the world, not bothered by anyone, and just have all these books to read. (The Reg. B revisions were not included.) He got his wish in the end, but stepped on his glasses so then he couldn't see.

"314" If I give this # to a friend as today's power ball entry and we win, do I need to share the winnings with all my BOL friends?

Lestie, I used to have nightmares every time I watched the Outer Limits as a kid. Some of you will remember that show. "There is nothing wrong with your television set. We have taken control." Now they do that to my PC.

That's why everytime I step into a bank vault, I think, where's my spare set of glasses?

When I was a teen ager there was a show called Night Gallery (also by Rod Sterling) and there was a show about a guy that wanted to toture his partner so he arranged to have a bug put in his ear that would work its way into his brain and eat it. But it was put into his ear instead and the kicker was that he was such a tough guy, although he was tortured beyond anything, the bug came out the other ear and he was none the worse for wear after that --except at the end you find out that it was a female bug and she had laid thousands of eggs in his brain and they were due to hatch at any minute!!!! I was freaked out for weeks.

I need to vent!
I felt like I had a dream this morning I was in the twilight zone or maybe somebody 314'd me.
My usual uneventful 30 to 40 minute comute this morning to work in northern Louisiana turned into a foggy trek that lasted 2 hours. Supposedly there was a fender bender on the I 20 bridge over the river. I am usually a very calm person, but for some reason traffic jams do me in. That is why I no longer live in a city and opted for densly populated northern LA.
At least it's Friday! Or so I thought until I heard the twilight zone music. Actually I loved it Andy!
I really pity all of you who have long arduous comutes everyday!

I meant sparsely populated northern LA not densely. Oh well, it is one of those days!
