Hope all have a great Holiday weekend. Remember to concentrate on those things that are the greatest gifts in our lives..family, friends, chocolate, jelly beans, marshmallow chicks, malt balls, peanutbutter eggs....

Ditto. And remember the reason for the season as well.

As the Big Bunny said in that popular story stolen by Christmas, "Happy egg hunting to all, and to all a good night".

mmmm... jelly beans...
My personal favorites are the Jolly Rancher and Starburst jelly beans. I give them the highest recommendation.

I still go for the chocolate. (The darker the better)

Good Friday to all and a Happy Easter too!

I haven't been able to eat one since they started making the Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans from the Harry Potter books and movies. Guess I'm just afraid I'll get a bogie flavored one.

True, someone I work with said their kids were eating a vomit flavored jelly bean. That is utterly disgusting! There's also mud flavored ones that taste just like dirt. I haven't tried them but that's what I'm told.

I haven't tried them either but I have bought several bags. They also list grass among the flavors.

Sounds like Harry Potter jelly beans.
My favorite Easter candy is a white chocolate bunny. I also like the Russel Stover green coconut nests with the two jelly beans resembling birds eggs.

I have tried them, not on purpose. My 7-year old son gave me a pepper flavored one, or was it earwax? Any way, they are disgusting. I told him if he ever gives me the vomit flavored, he's grounded until he's 18.

I'm with you, Andy -- not that I don't like bunnies, eggs and jelly beans (my favorites are lime...) - but there IS a little more to it than that. In fact, some countries take the entire week off to celebrate Passover week. Works for me -- all paid, of course!

This morning at Directors Loan Committee, a loan officer brought in a loan to a church. He listed the employer as "GOD". Everyone got a good laugh and immediately approved the loan, being Good Friday and all.

YES! And they're even better when they're hard as rocks! I have a friend overseas to whom I send them during the year. I always poke a hole in the package before I mail it so they start to get hard before they get there. (She's in Papua New Guinea - it takes 1-3 weeks for airmail!)

My husband loves them too. Sorry, but I can't stand them! The malted milk eggs are my favorite!

What I want to know is . . . whatever happened to the white jelly beans that were vanilla flavored??? I haven't had one of these since I was a kid in Baltimore. All the white ones now seem to be either pineapple or coconut.

I get to celebrate both holidays - a great week! Gifilte fish and matzo ball soup Wednesday and chocoloate this weekend. I just need to find someone who can make little bunnies out of Charleston Chews!

I love Cadbury Mini Eggs. They have the crunchy sugar shell. I do not share those. I can't get them very often because I eat the whole bag by myself. Thank goodness they're only available for about 2 months out of the year!

I love all the holidays, Easter, Passover, etc. but I will be glad when Easter is over this year.

I have one of those Dancing Hamsters in my office that is dressed up like a chick and dances to the "Chicken Dance".

As soon as easter is over, he's in the mail to my sister-in-law. That way he can annoy Japan for a while.

Me too! I have to make sure to get the classic size bag rather than the family size.
