Stable is boring. I prefer to be a bit crazy

For me...a girl I can call "my best friend". Must love racing, hockey, be intelligent (aware of world events), but have sort of a nerd/dork side.

My problem is not making the girl "my best friend" before we're in a relationship. Been there, done that, and it not fun.

I dont think you know what you want till you find it. You THINK you know, then the total opposite of that person enters your life and you discover parts of yourself that where never explored. Then you cant imagine your life without them

Okay so a little update on me signing up for match.com... I had probably the worst date I've ever been on monday night (she looked nothing like her pic and was really weird, long story lol). But then on wednesday I had probably the best date I've ever had, and we're going on our third date tomorrow after going out again last night!

In my past experience with dating and watching other around me go through the same thing...you find love when you stop looking for it. Most people try too hard, and their true personalities aren't able to shine through. When you stop looking for a relationship, you're able to relax and things just happen naturally. JMO

Well thats all I had ever done before and it never got me anywhere so I figured this couldnt hurt... and its going great so I am very glad I did it. I've been having a great time with this girl and will be seeing her again tonight, I don't see anything wrong with knowing what you want and going after it instead of waiting for life to just hand you what you want on a silver platter... And neither of us are trying to force anything or move too fast, we just happened to "click" from the getgo. And I don't mean to sound defensive and say your way is wrong, I think it just depends on the person and I know that if I wait around for someone to come to me then I would end up settling when I could do alot better... just because I didn't have enough options. Oh and TICG, I almost choked when I read your comment about meeting the wife lol
