I have three great kids - two of which are teenagers. They are all very involved in baseball and softball. My oldest is a really good player and had set his goals to play college ball at a very early age. He is now 16, a sophomore, and is already receiving letters from colleges. He plays "select" ball and we do a lot of traveling in the summer. As a matter of fact we will be in Dallas Saturday and Sunday "Z" and I was wondering what the weather is suppose to be like. Anyway, having that goal and the talent to go with it has really helped keep him focused and out of trouble - so far. Getting the letters at an earlier age than normal has also helped because they request copies of your transcripts and he now knows our preaching about grades being just as important as your skills is true. This summer will be big for him and possibly some key times for the future so wish us luck! I will need it to get through the 70 some odd games!
