Where have you been, Friday Frivolity always starts on a Thursday or a Wednesday or a Tuesday...well, it never starts on Friday. The starting date usually depends on the kind of hellish week the originator of the thread is having.

OK, back to the point of this thread--I saw your thread yesterday--he was at a Dixie Chicks concert. I think he'd had a little to much to drink--he kept dive bombing Natalie Maines. Or is your squirrel a Republican??

Actually, I did see your squirrel--he was here last week examining the bank, but I don't know where he is this week.

Are you sure he's lost, or did he run off with Natasha(sp)?

There were three or four different animals that he pulled out his hat (a rhino was one). I watched so faithfully, I knew the rotation of which animal got pulled out on any given day.

Not necessarily. These are still showing on the cable channels.

In fact I was watching the Road Runner with my 3 year grandson the other day and I kept hearing him say OUCH!. I got to listening to him and every time Wylie went over a cliff my grandson would say utt oh, utt oh, utt oh, and when Wylie hit the ground my grandson would say OUCH Aren't kids and especially grandkids wonderful?

If you answer to the name "Grandpa" or any of the many versions thereof, you are definitely showing you age!

I answer to "Pa-Pa" And in this case I'm darn proud to be showing my age (52).

My kids loved those cartoons, until we took away our expanded cable and lost Cartoon Network! My husband made me guess lastnight, what our next milestone would be, now that our oldest has graduated from high school. I wasn't sure what he was inferring at first, but it ended up being the oldest getting married and making us grandparents! I reminded him that his parents became grandparents at the same age we are now (42, until October). He just shuddered, especially since our youngest just finished 2nd grade!

Dan, we share the same age. My grandson is 5 and yes, grandkids are the best thing going. I wouldn't be 30 again for a million bucks! His name for me is "Amie" (ah-me). I love it!

I'm also proud to say that at the age of 52, my husband and I are grandparents of 7! (Four are steps, but still our grandkids) Can't think of a better age to enjoy them - we're still young enough to get down on the floor and play -of course, my Mom still does that and she's going to be 83!

I'd have to think about that one! But I'd want the condition I could keep my kids and grandkids at their current ages (although that'd make my daughter older than I would be).

I became a gradfather at age 40. I threatened my daughter with extreme pain if she gave birth before my 40th birthday. I turned 40 on 2/11 and my oldest grandson was born on 2/17.

Nope. How 'bout "My Friend Flicka"? (a horse)

Or, how 'bout "Out of the blue of the western sky, it's Sky King!" (and the beautiful Penny)
