Did anyone listen in on the ABA conference call today dealing with Treasury taking comments as to whether photocopies of ID documents should be required under 326? I didn't catch it and wondered if anyone there had any idea what will come of this?

That was my intention as well. (Awareness, that is.) I have a copy of Secretary Snow's letter to the Chairman. If you think it would be useful here, and can tell me how to do so, I will provide the copy here.

You can add the text into a post. The copy I have is a graphic which cannot be easily attached. You'd need special permission and there isn't sufficient content.

The question in my mind (which wouldn't have been answered today) is what will the comment process be and the likelihood that they will reverse this? If reversed, what is the time-frame we are looking at?

Seems like I actually have the MS picture also, and so I apparently paste it. Wish I knew the answers to your questions as well. No such luck.
