Answer:

The majority of bank robberies are still accomplished by a lone robber using a note or making a verbal demand. The advantage to this method for the robber is that he doesn’t draw attention to himself, often allowing him to leave unnoticed by most people in the bank. Take-over robberies are still popular, as they yield a high take. Other less common methods involve bomb threats and extortion schemes.
